Author: Youngah (Karen) Kwon

Youngah (Karen) Kwon is a chemistry PhD candidate at Columbia University, studying conjugated polymer aggregates using single-molecule fluorescence microscopy. Originally from Seoul, Korea, she's currently a communications coordinator for 500 Women Scientists NYC pod, as well as a writer for Softbites. As she plans to launch a career in science writing and journalism, through her work, she's hoping to address issues that fall between science and society. You can find her at ykarenkwon.com or on Twitter @ykarenkwon.
