Kathleen Burnett has a B.A. in History from Indiana University and experience in arts and nonprofit organizations. She started learning to code in 2012 has since held jobs analyzing social media for nonprofits and political campaigns and developing digital publishing products and software for a legal association. Currently she’s drawing on every part of her diverse background to develop Drover, a mobile app for large group trips and events.
While I had my first job in technology, a good friend from high school came to visit. As I was describing my work scraping and analyzing Twitter data, a look of surprise came over her face. “That sounds like it involves coding.”
